Music Therapy

Do you  have someone in your life that is dealing with the challenging disease of Alzheimers?  

My dear wonderful mother is in the latter stages of this disease and when I visit her I play all her favourite tunes. The family is amazed at how bright she becomes during my stay, and I can't deny that its the music that does it. Live music in particular has amazing power.  It's the exchange between the patient and the musician.   I am hoping to prove that music has that reach.
